Breast Cancer Awareness – Nurse in the Community and Post-Surgery fittings
1 in 7 women will be affected by breast cancer.
42% of newly diagnosed breast cancer is found by women themselves.
Self-examination has never been more important.
Visit our ‘Nurse in the Community
We are working with the Lady McAdden charity and hosting a ‘Nurse in the community’ session, allowing you the chance to meet with a nurse at the shop for information and personalised advice on breast cancer. If you are concerned about breast cancer and want to feel more informed about symptoms and more, please book an appointment with Lady McAdden for their ‘Nurse in the Community’ sessions that take place at our store. Book directly with Lady McAdden on 01702 343288.
If you have a new lump or concern, please contact your GP immediately. If you would like to discuss this concern as you are worried about contacting your GP (which you should not be, but we do understand you might be) then please telephone 01702 343288 so that one of the team can guide you.
Post surgery bra fittings
After cancer treatment, many women experience a loss of confidence, and have worries about the shape of their breasts after surgery. Taking the time to be fitted and wearing the right bra throughout your treatment journey will reduce these fears and allow you to focus on you.
Here at Coco-Boo we pride ourselves on offering our customers a friendly, approachable and professional fitting service. The right fitting bra is not only crucial for effective support but will boost your confidence and keep you feeling you. Book a private fitting appointment via our website.
